By Train in Fez and Meknes

Ten trains run between Fez and Meknes during any 24-hour period. The run to Meknes costs about 20 DH and takes one hour. There are seven daily trains to Casablanca (five hours, 100 DH) via Rabat (four hours, 75 DH). There are five daily trains from Fez to Marrakesh. The trip takes eight hours and costs about 80 DH. The train to Tangier leaves once a day, takes five hours, and costs about 100 DH.

ONCF (Moroccan rail service) has one station in Fez on the north side of the Ville Nouvelle, a 10-minute walk from the center of town.
