Fodor's Review:

Near the Tijani Mosque in Fez el Bali, this simple but commendable restaurant decorated with wood, ceramic tiles, and drapes serves real Moroccan food. Warmth, a sense of genuine Fassi (from Fez) ambience, and home cooking are the strong suits: briouates au kefta (ground-beef dumplings), lamb tagine, and mechoui are staples. Wine is not served here, but management will not object if you discreetly bring your own.
