Fodor's Review:

A tour through this shady oasis stuffed with food products heaped in elaborately arranged piles and pyramids—prunes, plums, olives, spices, nuts, dates, meats, fish, and provender of every conceivable shape, color, aroma, and taste—is synesthetic ecstasy, as well as a break from the sun and general sales pressure outside. This kissaria (covered market) is a good place to stock up on Moroccan spices for life (the best spice sellers take credit cards from around the world). Look for the fish market (through to the right) for a surprising look at denizens of all descriptions straight from the Atlantic ocean an hour's drive away.
