Upper Galilee and the Golan Restaurant Reviews

The Upper Galilee and the Golan's crisp, appetite-whetting air is an exquisite backdrop for some excellent restaurants. Fresh grilled Dan River trout, Middle Eastern fare prepared by Druze villagers, or home-style Jewish cooking in Tzfat are all regional fare. Excellent local wines enhance any meal: try the Mt. Hermon red, Gamla Cabernet Sauvignon, and Yarden Cabernet Blanc and Merlot. In a few places (such as Tzfat), it can be hard to find a restaurant open on Shabbat (sundown Friday to sundown Saturday). Prices in the reviews are the average cost of a main course at dinner or, if dinner isn’t served, at lunch.
