Emergencies in Tel Aviv

Emergencies

Ichilov Hospital, which is in north Tel Aviv, is about a 10-minute drive (depending on traffic) from the heart of downtown. They have a 24-hour emergency room that is the best place to go for emergency medical care. Be sure to bring your passport with you. You will be provided with all records in English for your insurance providers at home. If you need an ambulance, you can call 101 to reach Magen David Adom.

Emergency calls are free at public phones; no tokens or telecards are necessary.

Pharmacies take turns keeping late hours, and the duty roster changes daily. Check the Jerusalem Post or Ha'aretz for those currently on call.
