This boutique hotel shows off the best about what restoration can bring to Tel Aviv. The two-story building stands out among others that line the street due to its salmon-hued plaster exterior. The hotel's light-colored walls, hardwood floors, and arabesqued wrought-iron banisters evoke times gone by. Each of the 12 beautifully appointed rooms has the nice touch of a library filled with classics, cook-books, and art books. Interiors are accented by Ziegler Persian rugs. Pros: historical area; fine restaurant on property. Cons: location in a sometimes congested traffic area of downtown Tel Aviv.
