In a shady outdoor spot, Shalvata does unusual double-duty: by day it's where trendy Tel Aviv parents take their kids to run around while they eat. By night Shalvata is one of the city's better-known watering holes, with live performances. Choices that are a real treat include the Greek salad with fresh vegetables and squares of smooth tangy feta drizzled with olive oil and fresh herbs.
