San Antonio Roman Catholic Church

  • Address: 51 Yefet St., Jaffa, Tel Aviv

Fodor's Review:

Although it looks quite new with its clean white-stone bricks, this church actually dates from 1932, when it was built to accommodate the growing needs of Jaffa's Roman Catholic community. (St. Peter's was in a heavily populated Muslim area and was unable to expand due to lack of land.) The church is named for St. Antonius of Padua, friend and disciple of St. Francis of Assisi. Mass is celebrated daily at 6:30 AM.
