Waterskiing in Tel Aviv

Menachem Begin Park (03/739-1168), in southern Tel Aviv, near the Halitkvah neighborhood, runs cable waterskiing in an artificial lake, a system that holds no appeal for some but is particularly good for beginners. Costs are around NIS 82 per hour, including instruction. It's open daily from April through October, and on Friday and Saturday from November to end-March. Hours vary, so call in advance.
