Spa Village Review

Though only a few yards from the recreation park at Hammat Gader, this quiet Thai-style complex is a world apart. The superbly outfitted wooden cabin-suites have hot tubs that use thermal mineral water from the nearby springs; a few have their own saunas. Treatment rooms and exercise equipment are for hotel guests only. The warm mineral-pool area, a serene oasis by day, is almost mystical when you take the torch-lighted waters at night. The rest of the park is free for hotel guests. On weekends (Thursday and Friday nights), there is a minimum two-night stay.
