Built in the early 1930s as part of the St. Andrew's (Presbyterian) Church complex, the guesthouse is as much a retreat as a place to stay overnight. The comfortable library, the garden, and the lounge with cane furniture and stone arches framing Old City views define the character of the place. (The lounge also serves as a coffee shop and à la carte restaurant, with convenient hours.) Some of the guest rooms—tiled floors, matching green-patterned bedcovers and curtains, no TV—have tubs, others showers only. Bigger rooms have less of a view; some rooms have balconies.
