Moghul-influenced design elements immediately set a tone of quiet, informal elegance at this hotel restaurant. Naan breads, piquant dips, and slightly spicy lamb samosas are great starters. The cuisine is the less-fiery northern Indian: among the best entrées are the superb lamb rogan gosht and the subtle, tender, tandoori-baked chicken tikka. Curries or the flavorsome dhal makham (beans, lentils, and onions in a spicy sauce) are vegetarian options. Finish
with fragrant kulfi ice cream or the exotic elaichi kheer rice pudding. The lunch buffet is an excellent value.

Located at the Holiday Inn Hotel; this is definitely a place to go if you are in the mood for meat Indian dishes. While missing the yougurts and savoury sauces, Kohinoor is a recommended stopping point.
