Crowne Plaza Review
Although this landmark tall building with sweeping city views is a classic business hotel, it's also a comfortable vacation option. Pale salmon wallpaper and white duvets make a pleasing combination in guest rooms; bathrooms, though aesthetic, are small. The lobby-level bar-coffee shop is well laid out, with discreet alcoves, and the Kohinoor Indian restaurant is a real treat. The pool, and its adjacent lawns and playground, provide a welcome refuge for all ages at the end of a hot day. (The pool is covered and heated in winter.)
