Dan Boutique Review

The new onyx-black, red, and copper reception area and bright lobby lounge say it all: the veteran group-oriented Ariel Hotel has changed management and character, its recent, contemporary makeover intended to please the individual traveler. Room decor is a tasteful balance, done up in a similar, but gentler, color scheme than previously. About one-quarter of the rooms are classified as "superior Old City" regardless of size: you pay for the excellent views of Mt. Zion and the more distant Mt. of Olives. A third-floor sun-deck offers a 180-degree panorama.

Not sure this is Jerusalem's best foot forward, as it seems awfully south of everything. Trendiness of decor is overstated, as seems mostly dull and rooms nothing so memorable, I liked the service in bar with Joseph and Moseb, but as for computer time, will charge 60 minutes from time you start whether you sign off or not at $10 per hour. Ouch.
