Jerusalem Shopping

Ruth Havilio

Updated 05/16/2013

Fodor's Review

Artist Ruth Havilio makes hand-painted tiles with a more modern feel, for both decorative and practical purposes. Her sense of color and fun (whimsical clay animals, for instance) plays alongside more traditional styles. You can have tiles personalized, but keep in mind that this cannot be done on the spot. To get there, take the alley to the left of St. John's Church. Part of the charm of the gallery is its evocative courtyard setting.
