Jewish Quarter
Getting Here and Around
It's best to approach the Jewish Quarter on foot. From Jaffa Gate, you can plunge into the Arab bazaar and follow David Street until it becomes a T-junction: the right turn becomes Jewish Quarter Street. Alternatively, after you enter Jaffa Gate, follow the vehicle road to the right and through a small tunnel, then turn left (on foot) onto St. James Street and down to the quarter. A third idea is to begin your tour on Mt. Zion, and then continue to the Jewish Quarter through Zion Gate.
