Fodor's Review

This is a limestone complex, with cool inner courtyards and fabulous Old City views from the roof. The new wing has better-grade hotel rooms: ask for one facing the private inner courtyard and lawn; the Old City view is somewhat obstructed. The guesthouse (superior hostel) rooms are bright and pleasant, if utilitarian. They can sleep six when bunk beds are lowered from the walls. Request a street-facing room to avoid the noise of fine-weather evening events in the inner courtyard. The location is excellent: only 5 minutes' walk to Jaffa Gate, 10 minutes to Downtown.
