Opposite Mt. Herzl in West Jerusalem, this lodging has sweeping views of the Judean Hills; despite the away-from-it-all setting, it's only a 15-minute taxi ride from Downtown. The new wing is essentially an economy hotel, with spacious, well-laid-out rooms and light-wood furnishings. The 53 older rooms are simpler, though some have their own en-suite bathrooms. Meals are substantial and inexpensive.
