Hidden away in a rural settlement 10 km (6 mi) from the city, this out-of-the-ordinary lodging founded by a French couple who came here in 2006 looks as though it was plucked from a French hillside. Inside the main building are six individually decorated suites, each named for a French flower (the Lilac Suite is sweet as can be). Every piece of furniture and all the decorative accessories, from armoires to picture frames, have been hand-painted and decorated in Provençal
style, and the metalwork is from Marrakesh. Outside are a pool and a hot tub surrounded by chaise lounges, and a small but lovely spa offers day treatments. The breakfast, served in a dining room overlooking the pool or outside on the terrace, is organic.
