On Merkaz Carmel, these modest guest rooms take full advantage of the setting, with large windows facing the sea. Ask for a room on the fourth, sixth, or seventh floor; they've all been nicely renovated. The lobby lounge, which opens onto the promenade, also has superb views. The friendly front-desk staff is welcoming; the on-site kosher Chinese restaurant makes for a convenient and rewarding dining experience.
