Moshav Manot, Rte. 8911, Nahariya, Northern District, 25237, Israel
Hidden away in a rural settlement 10 km (6 miles) from the city, this out-of-the-ordinary lodging founded by a French couple looks as though it was plucked from a Provencal hillside. Inside the main building are six individually decorated suites, each named for a French flower (the Lilac Suite is sweet as can be). Every piece of furniture and decorative accessories, from armoires to picture frames, has been hand-painted and decorated in Provençal style, while the metalwork comes from Marrakesh. Outside, the pool and hot tub are surrounded by chaise lounges, and a small but lovely spa has day treatments. The breakfast, served in a dining room overlooking the pool or outside on the terrace, is organic.
