Just down the road, Kornmehl Dairy (Route 40, 052/278–8051) offers the opportunity to watch the adorable goats being fed and milked
daily, as well as the opportunity to sample (and purchase) the dairy's superb (and quite stinky) cheeses at their charming restaurant just below. Perched on a hillside, the wooden restaurant offers indoor or outdoor seating and a menu that includes goat cheese pizza, bruschettas, pasta, toasted sandwiches—even a tender goat-cheese cheesecake lavished in fruit sauce.
