Fodor's Review

One of Eilat's two shopping malls, Mul Yam is at the entrance to town and is noted for made-in-Israel products. Here you can stroll along with the chattering crowd, stop for a drink of freshly squeezed orange or carrot juice, and perhaps pick up a lottery ticket at the stand outside the Israel Jewelry Exchange shop. Then check out such stores as Intima for women's soft and sexy lingerie; Gottex for famous swimwear; Honigman for women's sweaters, shirts,

and skirts; and Fox for cheeky casual clothing for adults and children. There are also a bookstore, drugstore, and several coffee shops. Outside the mall, on the promenade going west, are one-after-the-other tacky but fun stalls selling hats, T-shirts, and earrings. Also, a branch of Rockport sells Teva sandals and other shoes.
