Fodor's Review

Known for its freshwater springs, Einot Zukim (also called Ein Fashkha) is a nature reserve with many species of trees and reeds not often found in the arid Judean Desert. You can swim in two shallow spring-fed pools and visit an archaeological site from the Second Temple period and a manor from the Herodian period. Call ahead for free English-language tours on Thursdays. Amenities: food and drink; lifeguards; parking; showers; toilets. Best for: walking;

swimming.
