Fodor's Review

Bethlehem's most luxurious accommodation is in a century-old mansion, and the stunning stone building and five-star service will make you feel like a sultan. The palace was built in 1910 by Bethlehem Mayor Suleiman Jacir. That original building is the reception and airy courtyard, and the well-appointed guest rooms sprawl out behind it, arranged around the swimming pool. The Zaitouneh restaurant serves up Lebanese fare, while bartenders mix great drinks in a stone cellar

in the Makan Bar.
