Steigenberger Nile Palace Review
The Nile Palace's sleek, art deco-inspired facade is easily the most visible hotel on the strip south of the Corniche. This is a hotel designed and furnished with attention to detail, starting with the Arabian-arch mirror frames and demure lotus ceiling borders in standard guestrooms. Architectural details are at their best in the Casa di Napoli trattoria, and in the intimate new Bua Khao restaurant, authentically Thai with three Thai chefs. Even though this property's footprint is clearly that of a city hotel, it offers some tempting resort-style programs. Depending on the season, there are felucca breakfast sailings, dinner-and-a-show cruises aboard a dahabiyya(sailboat), and nightly Egyptian folkloric performances on the atrium stage.
