4 Le Riad Hotel—Hotel de Charme. Owned and decorated by Madame Veronique, who also owns the Talisman, Le Riad is the first true luxury boutique hotel in Cairo. The interior design is influenced by the great Islamic art and architecture in the surrounding historical streets and makes a wonderful homey oasis in which to envelope yourself after a dusty day's sightseeing. Suites are very well equipped, including both a DVD and laptop for your use during your stay. There's a tearoom and a prix-fixe restaurant (reservation only). This is an intimate property for those that enjoy the personal touch.
