  • Giza

  • Equidistant between Downtown and the Pyramids (about 20 minutes to either by taxi)
  • Views of the city and of the Pyramids from the roof terrace
  • No-smoking rooms

  • Music around the pool can be too loud
  • There's little around the hotel beyond the Pharaonic Village theme park, so it's a taxi ride to anywhere
  • Beds are narrow and won't suit tall or wide travelers
  • Only one dedicated no-smoking room per floor

Fodor's Review

2 Swiss Inn. This modern but simple, 14-story hotel opened in 2008. Everything is clean and modern, with tile and marble in the public spaces and the rooms, but the atmosphere is more appropriate to an upmarket motel rather than a full-service hotel. There's a kitschy roof pool in the shape of a boat plus a shisha café and seating area.
