It is always difficult to find reasonably priced Japanese food, but Sushiyama makes a good go of it. Lunch consists of set bento boxes of tempura noodles or teriyaki, but at dinner freshly prepared sushi can be ordered à la carte or from the endless list of combinations. If you prefer drama to authenticity, you can order teppanyaki and sit around the large grills while the cooks twirl their knives and toss ingredients over their shoulders (ask them to go light on the salt and soy). Although the decor is a little too overtly Asian, the ceiling's elaborate latticework of air vents and natural wood has an ingeniously Japanese touch. Sushiyama serves sake (sometimes), beer, and French wine.
