Maison Thomas

We ate lunch here - a cheese and anchovies pizza - and I was very surprised that I was eating one of the best pizzas ever, in Cairo! Of all places! The service was attentive and cheerful and it's across the street from the Marriott. It's mostly a take out place so seating is limited but if you're in the area it's a great economical choice.

Maison Thomas is a great place in Cairo for pizza. It is within walking distance of a large hotel (Cairo Marriott) and has multiple combinations of toppings to get on your pizza. Best of all, it is very inexpensive, so it's a great meal if you want something good but you are tight on money.

These pizzas are great! The veggies on them are fresh, fresh, fresh! And, most likely, were picked that day, so they are very tasty -- they're not your basic, picked in California before they were ripe, shipped refrigerated and purchased in your neighborhood grocery store days after they were picked vegetables. Enough cheese on each one and interesting combinations. Never had one I didn't like And not greasy. Oh, and I only get delivery, so I'm not up on the service. Delivery service is speedy and the delivery guys are nice and polite and speak enough English to do their jobs.
