$$$, Middle Eastern, Cairo
Fodor's Review:
Colorful tilework and elaborate carvings cover every inch of this gorgeously decorated Moroccan restaurant. The food is uneven, but when the chef is in good form the pastilla, a flaky pigeon or chicken pastry laced with spices and covered in a dusting of sugar and cinnamon, is out of this world. Likewise the chicken tagine, a stew with dates that's served in a conical ceramic dish, can be outstanding. No alcohol is served.
