4 Fairmont Towers Heliopolis. Cairo's most architecturally stunning hotel, the six-story building is designed to mimic the eye of Horus. Rooms are in a curved stone edifice, while the public spaces are in a vast glass atrium that hugs the inner curve of the main block. The interior is übercool with full-size palm trees and fountains plus several open-plan bars and restaurant areas. The rooms, too, are very contemporary, with hardwood floors, flat-screen TVs, and more than 450 square feet of space. The spa is by Willow Stream.
