Marrakesh is well served by train from Tangier, Rabat, Casablanca, and Fez, and there are plenty of daily arrivals. The train station on Avenue Hassan II is Morocco's main southern terminus, and the end of the line for anyone going south. For schedule and fare information, there is now a telephone booking and information line 090/20-30-40, but advance reservations can be made for first-class only. Trains leave for Tangier five times a day; one-way tickets cost 281 DH in first class and 188.50 DH in second. Trains to Casablanca leave nine times a day and cost 110.50 DH in first-class and 75.50 DH in second.
