An intimate hideaway near the Hotel Akouass and El Amir Abdelkader train station, this combination Moroccan, Vietnamese, and international restaurant in the Ville Nouvelle is good at everything it does. The candlelit room, with no more than a dozen tables, is decorated in European motifs with Asian and Moroccan touches here and there. The menu is an eclectic hodgepodge ranging from Vietnamese noodles and nuoc mam (a salty fish sauce) to tagines of lamb, beef, or chicken. The wine list is first-rate, and you're guaranteed never to find a busload of tourists in this local favorite.
