Kikar Hamedina, in northern Tel Aviv, is arguably the most expensive real estate in the country; this is where the wealthy shop. Hit the shops on this circular street for, say, a Sonia Rykiel or Chanel suit, perhaps a Kenzo creation, or a pound of Godiva chocolates. The middle of the square is an unkempt plaza that, alas, is the perfect foil to the luxury surrounding it but does nothing to bring prices down.
