With indoor and outdoor seating, this Tuscan-style establishment facing the open square across from the Suzanne Dellal Center is perfect for a before-theater dinner. The fine wide pasta with hunter's sauce -- a brown sauce with mushrooms and white wine -- is an unusual blend of flavors for the local scene. The service is friendly and helpful and the Italian house wine a break from the usual.

We are staying at the Dan Panorama Hotel and by walkng distance and a couple of questions to locals we discovered a lovely old italian restaurant, we chose to sit outside, they brought fresh toasted bread for dipping in olive oil and a huge bowl of salad to share along with a nice bottle of wine from Galilee Cabernet Sauvingon. We enjoyed bowtie pasta tossed in rich cream and cheese w/fresh green scallions and grilled chicken. Waitstaff was very kind and helpful, yet not too overwhelming and allowed us to dine quietly!
