Fodor's Review:
You would never know from the funky orientalist decor that this was once the site of Borsalino, Cairo's most notorious brothel, but local nightlife impresario Raouf Lotfi has turned it into an excellent Italian restaurant in an embassy district short on places to eat. The chef is Italian and the pastas are all homemade; even the simple ones, with chopped tomatoes and basil, are delicious. The mood changes as the night progresses, and the restaurant gradually becomes more of a place to drink and socialize. The owner has the best music sense in Cairo, so the sounds are always grooving.
