Help Me Give My Parents a Trip "What a great thing to do for your parents! If you are comfortable doing this, it might be a good solution to get a debit card that hooks to your account under their name(s) to use. Or you could add them as a card holder on one of your credit cards and give them that rather than getting the prepaid one." -- cherrybomb
Are You Filing for a Refund of Your Credit Card's Foreign Transaction Fee? "We got 2 packets - I guess because we have used two different credit cards on 8 trips to Europe between 1996 and 2006. I simply can't be bothered to reconstruct what we spent (I am not anal retentive) but wonder if I respond to both mailings if we will end up with $50. Worth a try, I guess. It will pay for one day's breakfast in Paris on our upcoming trip!" -- mamc
Trying to Keep a Visit to Yellowstone Simple "Get a book that lists things to see in the order they're encountered as you drive thru the Park. Other than one or two main things you must see, like Old Faithful, don't overplan. Set some general time frames for each area and just drive, park, get out, look around." -- gail
