Visit Santa Barbara's Funk Zone for great art, wine, and shopping

Fancy a trip to sunny Santa Barbara this spring? Make a pit stop in the city’s Funk Zone, a once-industrial (and now ill-named) zone bordered by State Street, Stearns Wharf, and East Beach. Recently it’s been revived; artists, wineries, surf shops, and local retailers of artisan foods and products have moved in. Several of the wineries on Santa Barbara’s Urban Wine Trail are located here, offering a sort of one-stop tasting trail for some of the region's best wines.
