There are some 85 million moms in the U.S.—and they all deserve some extra-special parental pampering this Mother’s Day, May 13. Whether the matriarch of honor is your mother, grandmother, wife, or friend, spoil her silly with these ultimate "momcations." From spa-ing to shopping, or cruising to cooking, these five Mother's Day getaways have got you covered. What more could a Mom want? (Oh yeah, some packages have got babysitting covered, too!)

1. Mother-Daughter Manhattan Voyage

Mother-daughter duos shouldn't miss the New York City premiere of Listen to Your Mother—a national series of live readings by local writers, the event celebrates Mother’s Day by sharing original short stories on "the humorous, poignant, painful, and joyful aspects" of motherhood (May 6; $30). On May 12, take your green thumbs to The Peninsula NYC’s mother-daughter Flower Workshop and create your own take-home spring floral arrangement ($165; reservations required). Afterwards, indulge in the hotel's five-star ESPA’s Mother's Retreat ($272), including massage, mani-pedi, champagne, and a day pass to the pool and fitness facilities. On May 13, embark on a NYC harbor cruise aboard the chic new Hornblower Hybrid. Launched in 2011 as the U.S.’s first hybrid cruise vessel, the 600-guest ship sets sail on a special Mother’s Day two-hour brunch ($57.50) and three-hour dinner jaunt ($99). Both trips feature live entertainment, free-range foods, complimentary champagne upon boarding, and expansive sundecks that are perfect for soaking in that beautiful Big Apple skyline.

2. Gourmet Wine Country Getaway in Napa

Book the Hilton Garden Inn Napa’s "Weekday Escape" one-night package and enjoy an onboard lunch in the gourmet dining car on the Napa Wine Train, while taking in panoramas of rolling vineyards in all their springtime glory; a full cooked-to-order breakfast at the hotel; and a "Taste of the Valley" pass to six of the area’s top wineries (through May 31; from $319 per couple). The comfortable hotel itself sits in the heart of California Wine Country and offers flat-screen TVs, free Wi-Fi, fitness center, and Neutrogena toiletries. Come Mother's Day weekend, spend Saturday sampling Domain Carneros’ famous sparkling wines at its fairy-tale winery during Mother’s Day Tea (May 12; $55). On Sunday, head to San Francisco (just an hour’s drive from Napa) for Parties That Cook’s Mother’s Day Cooking Class Brunch at the historic Ferry Building, a downtown landmark turned upscale gourmet marketplace; the upbeat, hands-on class also includes a glass (or two!) of sparkling wine (May 13; $85).

3. VIP Pampering in the British West Indies

Ani Villas, an über-modern, "high-rollers welcome" estate in Anguilla, comprises a pair of five-bedroom luxury cliffside villas, each complete with their own pool, hot tub, lounges, and kitchen. A cool $30,000 weekly rental fee buys you the standard perks of a full-time personal concierge, on-demand local guide, private chef, and security team, as well as speedboat transfers and all drinks (yes, that means top shelf). The estate’s "Mother’s Day Getaway" includes wine tasting; daily rooftop yoga; $1,000 of in-house spa services; a shopping excursion to St. Barts; a private, romantic dinner; and, the kicker any mom will love: babysitting (through June 1; seven-night minimum). Sound amazing, but out of your price range? The Sands at Grace Bay in Turks and Caicos has a more affordable option with its "Mom’s a VIP in Paradise" package, proffering the fourth-night stay free, $50 worth of spa and restaurant vouchers, a gift basket with bottle of vino, wine glasses engraved with Mom’s name, yummy rum cake, and a couple of those oh-so-comfy hotel robes. Free kayak, sailboard, and bike rentals are an added bonus (May 1–31; $169/night).

4. Classic Steamboat Mississippi River Cruise

Hop aboard the largest paddle-wheel steamboat ever built for a seven-night "Springtime on the River" sailing through America’s heartland. The American Queen, debuting April 27 via the Memphis-based Great American Steamboat Company, will ply the waters of the Mississippi and Ohio Rivers from Cincinnati to Memphis on its Mother’s Day voyage (embarks May 8; cruise rates from $1,995/person). Onboard, give it up for live performances by 60's pop sensations Paul Revere & the Raiders and Gary Lewis & the Playboys in the Grand Saloon (a replica of Washington, D.C.’s, historical Ford’s Theatre), and enjoy decadent Southern-inspired dining. The ship’s glistening, Victorian-era decor evokes Mark Twain-era ambiance from its grand staircase to inviting staterooms (think antebellum mansion). On shore, hop-on, hop-off "steamcoaches" take you on a tour of all the sights, from an antique machine factory in small-town Indiana to Louisville’s Kentucky Museum of Arts and Crafts. Disembarking in Memphis nabs you a luxury hotel stay, tour of Graceland (the Queen’s godmother is Priscilla Presley), and dinner at Charles Vergo’s world-famous Rendezvous barbecue restaurant.

5. A Jazzy Weekend in Pennsylvania

Eastern Pennsylvania’s family-oriented Skytop Lodge, set amidst 5,500 acres in the Pocono Mountains, is throwing a double-whammy celebration the weekend of May 11–13 in honor of Mother’s Day and the resort’s own 84th anniversary. Starting the lady of honor’s stay off right with a thoughtful welcome gift, she’ll also be privy to moms-only fitness classes, complimentary day camp for the kids, and the Fabulous Mother’s Day Jazz Brunch, featuring a 16-piece orchestra and a complimentary orchid. Automatic access is granted to in-tandem anniversary events, including a glamorous, white-glove outdoor picnic; a butler-catered wine and seafood reception; family photo sessions with classic cars; and a special five-course dinner. If that’s not enough to pique your interest, there’s also the resort’s first-rate Adventure Center for canoeing, rock climbing, archery, tennis, and guided nature walks (rates from $390/night; includes three meals daily).
