Keep your laptop safe when you travel
Put your laptop in your room safe or the hotel safe when not in your room (not under the bed or in the drawers). If you settle down at a café or other public place to use your laptop, consider using a lock. Many laptops have a security slot. Get a locking device with an attached cable, wrap the cable around a heavy, stationary object, and insert the lock into the security slot.
