Be sure you have a roadside assistance plan
Before setting off on this summer's road trip, be sure to check see if your car's warranty is still in effect and that it includes emergency roadside assistance, which typically covers towing, changing flat tires, and retrieving keys locked inside cars. If you don't have such a plan, consider joining AAA, which offers this service.
