Travel Tip of the Day

Streamline your toiletry bag
Lighten the load of your toiletry bag by packing items that can be used for multiple purposes and leaving behind bulkier items like hair dryers. Fodor's member saige recommends the following,
"I use moisturizers much more when I am traveling. The air travel alone is very drying. I also usually let my naturally curly hair air dry rather than using hair dryers and flat irons that I normally use at home. This both saves on packing and keeps my hair from being overly dry and flyaway. I pack minimal make-up and use the same products every day including good sunscreen and high SPF base. I always have my hair cut and nails done before a major trip. Clear polish on relatively short nails is easy to maintain when traveling. Staying neat and clean, well hydrated and moisturized is key to looking good on the road."
