Drop in on classes or special-interest tours

Consider participating in a cooking class in southern France, a rock-climbing course in a Utah park, an architecture tour in Chicago, or a tea-ceremony demonstration in Tokyo? Look for activities and tours that tickle your fancy while exposing you to an important aspect of your destination. In the process, you might see spots that would be difficult to reach on your own, and you might meet other travelers--or even locals--with similar interests.
