BA to Launch All-Biz Class Service to U.S.
British Airways announced it will launch an all-business class service from New York City to London in 2009.
The airline will operate two Airbus A318 aircraft with 32 flat-bed seats onboard and promises 15-minute check-ins for customers on both sides of the Atlantic. The planes will fly in and out of London City (LCY) and fly to both JFK and Newark Liberty.
Relatively small in size, the A318 planes will require a stop for re-fueling before heading across the Atlantic to the States. At this time, British Airways has not said where the planes will stop for refueling.
