Crystal Cruises' Marathon Pacific Sailing
If your long sought-after dream of sailing the Pacific Ocean has gone unfulfilled, stop fretting. Crystal Cruises has just announced plans for a marathon, 105-day Pacific Ocean cruise that hits 46 destinations in 17 countries.
Crystal Serenity departs Los Angeles for Mexico on January 21, 2009 and heads for Mexico, the South Pacific, New Zealand, Eastern and Western Australia, Indonesia and Southeast Asia, China, Japan, Russia, Alaska, British Columbia, San Francisco and back to Los Angeles.
The journey will include five maiden calls: Rangiroa, French Polynesia; Napier, New Zealand; Komodo, Indonesia, Sihanoukville, Cambodia; and Petropavlovsk, Russia. Overnight stays are scheduled in Auckland, Sydney, Singapore, Bangkok, Shanghai, Osaka and Yokohama, and two-night stays in Ho Chi Minh City and Hong Kong.
Cruise rates for the Pacific tour have not yet been determined but should be available by October 28, 2007, when the luxury line begins accepting reservations. For more information, consult Crystal Cruises.
