The All-Elvis-All-the-Time Cruise
Elvis died 30 years ago this summer, but the rock legend simply refuses to die. Carnival Cruises is cashing in on the Eternal Elvis Experience with its first-ever "Elvis Cruise," a four-day specialty cruise that celebrates the music and life of the legendary entertainer. The cruise is scheduled to depart Jacksonville, Florida, on August 30, 2007, and will make stops in Freeport and Nassau, Bahamas.
The voyage will be hosted by longtime Elvis confidant Jerry Schilling, author of the book Me and a Guy Named Elvis. Other entertainment includes appearances by performers who worked with Elvis in addition to the TCB Band, the Jordinaires, the Imperials, and others. The cruise also includes an Elvis tribute contest (with $10,000 prize) and an Elvis-themed bingo night.
The cost of the All-Elvis-All-the-Time Cruise is $750 per person (based on double occupancy). For more information, call 1-800-704-3034 or heck out Carnival Cruise Lines.
