In L.A., a High Tea Fit For a Queen
Be queen for a day with an ultra-civilized Victorian tea, served in the Rendezvous Court of L.A.'s opulent Millennium Biltmore Hotel. Tables are set with rose bouquet-printed cups and saucers, and crowned by a three-tiered cake stand brimming with finger sandwiches and pastries, chocolate-covered strawberries, and miniature fruit tarts and lemon custard pies. Black teas, green teas, herbals teas are all offered, as is a glass of champagne or mimosa. Those who haven't quite graduated to queendom status can opt for the pastries-only Princess Tea. Tea is served daily 2-5 p.m. Cost is $22 for the Victorian Tea; $18 for the Princess Tea.
