The Polish city of Wejhera garnered its share of Internet fame when locals noticed the snow-laden statue of the city’s founder looked an awful like Darth Vader. Now the statue of the 17th-century nobleman has been outfitted with a look that befits a noted a Sith lord.
On Dec. 15th Wejhera held ForceCon, a celebration of all things Star Wars to coincide with the release of “Rogue One,” and the city decided to dress up the now infamous statue in full Vader regalia complete with the iconic helmet and sweeping, black cape. Though the full-fledged costume is just a temporary touch, visitors will be able to feel as if they’re in the presence of the galaxy’s most infamous villain anytime a blizzard hits.
