From now until October 1, you can zip over Archbishop’s Park near Waterloo at 30mph, hurling past views of the London Eye, Big Ben, and the House of Parliment on “the biggest, fastest, city center zip line in the world.” Per Zip World London, for just £22.50 for adults and £16.50 for children, you too can zip 10 stories down traveling 250 yards in a matter of seconds.
Doesn’t that sound like fun? No? Maybe it’s a great way to take in the city? I really can’t say, but if you’re searching for fast thrills in a Dickensian setting, I suppose this could be a way to appease great expectations.
